The Superministry, also known as the Government Office Complex, located on the outskirts of the Uue-Maailma district, is one of the most discussed public buildings in the center of Tallinn. Currently, the complex houses the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, and the Ministry of Social Affairs. In addition to these ministries, a newly established Climate and Environment Ministry based on the Ministry of Environment and a Regional Development Ministry based on the Ministry of Rural Affairs will move into the building starting next year. Opened in August 2017, this complex situated along one of Tallinn’s prominent avenues aims to provide a modern, thoughtfully designed, and energy-efficient working environment within an architecturally distinguished and high-quality structure. The Superministry is the first entirely new government building constructed in Estonia since the restoration of independence.
A valid identification document is required for entry to the tour.
