Tallinn Methodist Church stands near Kadriorg at Narva mnt 51 and is one of the most striking contemporary sacral buildings in Tallinn. The church was completed in 2000 to a design by architects Vilen Künnapu and Ain Padrik. Its architecture combines a modern formal language with Christian symbolism. A particular accent is given by the tall tower, which makes the building easily recognisable in the cityscape. The spacious and light-filled hall was designed for services, concerts and larger gatherings alike. The building houses the Tallinn Congregation of the Estonian Methodist Church, the church administration and the Theological Seminary of the Estonian Methodist Church. Tallinn Methodist Church is at once an actively working place of worship, an education and culture centre, and an important example of church architecture from the period after Estonia regained independence.
