Wismari 6 is a converted unfinished casino project that became the British Embassy in 1999. Architecturally, it is characterized by its modern glass entrance and the work of Charles Scott and Hurd Rolland Partnership, representing a contemporary diplomatic building within Tallinn’s historic context. At the UK’s premises in Tallinn visitors will see a working British Embassy. The tour will start in the Embassy’s conference room where photos of previous Ambassadors hang, followed by a tour of some of the offices’ including the Ambassador’s. During the tour, visitors can ask British Embassy staff about their roles, the job of a diplomat, and how they find living in a country that isn’t their home. Guests can also find out more about the British Embassy’s work in Estonia, as well as the British Council’s activities.
A valid identification document is required for entry to the tour.At the checkpoint, all electronic devices must be handed in for the duration of the tour. Photography inside the building is prohibited! At 11:00 tour young people are welcomeTours are only in English
